ゲイ・アートの先駆者、ゲイを描いたアートでLGBTQの権利を訴えたフィンランドの作家TOM OF FINLAND（トム・オブ・フィンランド/1920年～1991年）の日本初の個展 大阪巡回決定

タブー視された同性愛の現実に自由と誇りを与えると共に、LGBTQコミュニティのみならずアート界でも影響力のあるTom of Finland 。
現実を直視する写実性（Reality）と希望を作品にする想像性（Fantasy）が世界に与えた影響は計り知れない。

日本初公開となるTom of Finlandのオリジナル作品30点の展示を予定しています。 本展は、フィンランドセンター、駐日フィンランド大使館、TOM OF FINLAND財団、The Container、パルコの共同開催となります。 展覧会のキュレーションは東京を拠点にキュレーターとして活動、自身のギャラリーThe Containerのディレクター シャイ・オハヨンが担当。 本年はTom of Finland生誕100周年にあたる年となり大きな盛り上がりが期待されます。
