Space Baghdad presents SPACE#4 – UVB Japan Showcase 2016.05.14(sat) at CIRCUS TOKYO

オランダの硬派テクノ・クリエイターBas Mooyが設立したレーベルMordから、昨年11月にアルバムLIFEをリリースしたフランス出身の新鋭Sebastien MichelによるプロジェクトUVBの初来日公演が、Space Baghdad主催のSPACE #4として5/14土曜日にCIRCUS TOKYOにて開催される。ヨーロッパではすでに高い知名度と人気を誇る彼の初来日公演はこの5/14のCIRCUS TOKYOのみとなっており、まさに見逃し厳禁な貴重な夜となるだろう。当日はUVBの他、行松陽介、HIRONORI TAKAHASHI [Semantica]、fm™ [NHK]、DJ Sodeyamaをはじめとする豪華なDJ陣が出演する。

UVB [Mord Records]

UVB is the pseudonym of the French DJ and producer Sébastien Michel. He grew up with the passion for music and focused his attention on electronic music in 2011 when he first decided to start producing .
In the meantime, he started his DJ project in his home city, Marseille, playing in underground places and delivering his own vision of Techno Music. Late 2012, he worked on several music projects in different styles of electronic music which comforted him in his choice for raw and hard tones.
In 2013, UVB concentrated on his techno project, started to develop his own version of a live which is a dj set only composed of his own productions, and played it at clubs in Berlin (Urban Spree, Tresor).
His first EP was released on the Rotterdam based label MORD Records in June 2014 and has been supported by some of the biggest names of the Techno scene such as Surgeon, Marcel Dettmann, Lucy or even Tommy Four Seven.
UVB’s sound combines energetic tones with intricate rythms, and always focuses on a true rave feeling by its functionnality and its rawness.

行松陽介

2008年 大阪atmosphäreでのSPINNUTSとMITSUKI主催『KUHIO PANIC』に飛び入り参加して以降DJとして活動。
THE NAMINOHANA SPECIALでのKEIHIN、DJ NOBUとの共演から親交を深め、2014年春、千葉FUTURE TERRORでプレイ。
2015年は2度のDOMMUNE出演、goatのサポートを数多く務め、PAN showcaseではLEE GAMBLEとB2B。Oneohtrix Point Neverの前座を務めるなど、活動の場を拡げる。

DJ Sodeyama

自身のレーベル『ARPA records』とレーベルショーケース『ARPA showcase at WOMB』を主宰。日本全国のクラブやフェスティバルでプレイし、日本最大の屋内レイブ『WIRE』には3年連続(11&12&13年度)で出演。韓国、台北、北京、香港、ドイツ、オランダ、イギリス、ギリシャ、オーストリア、カナダ等でもツアーを敢行するなどワールドワイドに活動している。数多くのレーベルからオリジナル及びリミックス等の作品をリリース。2011年には世界最大手ダンスミュージックディストリビューター『wordandsound』配給のもと、自身の新レーベル『ARPA RECORDS』（アナログ＆デジタル）を立ち上げる。第1弾リリース『DJ SODEYAMA / MILES』はNICK CURLYがリミックスを務め、第2弾以降もGLIMPSE、RADIO SLAVE、TIM XAVIER、CHRISTIAN BURKHARDT等の強力なリミキサーを迎えた内容で注目を集める。SVEN VATH、RICHIE HAWTIN、LOCO DICE、JOSH WINK、DUBFIREをはじめとした世界中のDJ達がプレイ。自身の名義の他にダウンビートプロジェクト『LO:BLOC』としてアルバム『FROM NORTHERN CLIMS』を2009年にリリース。
2013年に新たに始動したニュープロジェクト『THE PEOPLE IN FOG』としての1stアルバム『A RAY OF LIGHT』のリリースを切っ掛けに、アムステルダムを拠点とするレーベル『SOUND OF VAST』から『DEEP EP』をリリース、オランダで開催されている世界最大のフェスティバル『ADE』に招聘される。2015年秋にはDJ SODEYAMA名義としては8年振りのニューアルバム『TWELVE PROCESSING』のリリースや、12月にはNINA KRAVIZのレーベル『трип』からリリース。多角的視点からのエレクトロニックミュージックを軸とし、唯一無二の世界を創りあげるアーティストである。

HIRONORI TAKAHASHI [ACONITO, INFORMA,SEMANTICA]

ACONITO, INFORMA, SHAPELESS, AIMERSSE.ORG. SEMANTICA, STROBOSCOPIC ARTEFACTS, GRANULART…数多くのレーベルで活躍する日本人アーティスト。DISK UNIONお茶の水CLUB MUSIC SHOPを経て、下北沢CLUB MUSIC SHOPスタッフ。最近では、ARTSからIORIリミックス収録のシングル「Silent Dimension」を、DRAFTED主宰イタリアの新鋭レーベルMM AUDIOから「Metaphysical Forces」をリリース。

fm™ [NHK]

電子音楽ユニットNHKのメンバーとして、ドイツのレーベルraster-notonからEP”Unununium”でデビュー後、 Important Records、PANからはSNDとのSplit EPをリリースし、ヨーロッパ/日本でライブを重ねる。2015年2月にはLINEより1stアルバム「Program」をリリース。fm™名義ではDj として都内を中心に活動。Lee Gamble主宰の「Cyrk」やドイツ/ドレスデンの「DOUBLED TOWN」にmixを提供。

EEXXPPOANN [Constant Value / Space Baghdad]

Eexxppoann is a new techno producer/dj based in Seoul. ‘Eexxppoann’ is the abbreviation for ‘Exponential Expansion’, which is the initial physical process of the big bang. As a director of the experimental techno party Constant Value, he aims to create techno sounds with structural and spatial experiments. This is also due to his other profession: apart from being a musician he works as an architect. His music and architecture simultaneously evolve structurally and aesthetically coinciding.

He recently released EP [Phenomenal Reality] from Absolute Records in Italy. It includes three experimental techno tracks including [Strato], [XSP MMXV I] and [Borderline XXI II].
